Job Description
- Provide excellent customer service – both internal/external whether verbal or email.
- Effective interpersonal skills - ability to relate to internal peers at different levels as well as external customers and vendors.

- Prepare Air Export shipments by working closely with Vendors, immediate counterparts in the Air Export Department, Air Gateway, and region. A summary of the process would be scheduling pickups from Shippers both verbally or email, obtaining correct paperwork to export, reviewing, and perfecting, US Export Compliance, managing email traffic within a timely manner and ensure all customers standard operating procedures in place and updated in Customer SOP
- Maintaining positive relationships with our customers, both USA / Internationally. Meeting customer service standards.
- Dispatching and overseeing all customer pickups. Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
- Support with courier shipments through 3rd party portals for GAM customer.
- Responsible for daily updating and monitoring of various reporting tools and work board. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system, On-going commitment to quality and data integrity.
- Assist the Air Export manager, supervisors and leads with various Excel data logging and document creations.
- Constant self-development.
- Understand department process flow and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing the task at hand with outstanding integrity and pride.

Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to relate to internal peers at different levels as well as external customers and vendors.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point. Familiar with standard email programs.
- A good understanding of Expeditors’ Products and Services-will be trained on
- Understanding of documentation process, a plus-will be trained on
- Strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work without constant supervision within a fast-paced work environment.
- Self-motivation and attention to detail required. Assuming the role of a leader and taking charge of situations is also desired.
