Distribution Agent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Distribution Warehouse Agent.  Please apply ONLY if you have experience working in a 3PL/Supply Chain/Order Fulfillment/ Distribution Warehouse.

• Working in the warehouse overseeing distribution Receiving/Shipping/Inventory operations for key accounts.  
• This position requires a lot of walking and moving around - this is a 400,000 sq ft warehouse with 60 dock doors.
• Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow (inbound/outbound) - working with the onsite contract worker company to handle those duties.
• Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
• Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, loading and unloading of freight
• Interact with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standards
• Contribute and maintain good relationships with suppliers
• Meet compliance at all times
• Network communications, timely responses to emails and requests
• Meet KPI standards in accordance with Company policy
• Understand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPs
• Maintain accurate inventory counts
• Handling weekly or daily calls with customers to review warehouse daily tasks for orders/receipts.
• Previous lead/supervisor roles a plus.  Looking for someone that wants to be in Leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working in a warehouse /3PL setting
• College degree is a plus however, a minimum 3 years of experience in Distribution/Logistics is required.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a history of excellent attendance.
• Flexible schedule availability, including early arrivals or late departures as needed.
• Ownership mindset with demonstrated leadership qualities.
• Team-oriented with effective communication skills across all levels.
• Proficient in Power BI, Excel, and Word.
• Forklift Certification is a PLUS
• Ability to type 45wpm
• Excellent written, verbal, and reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to manage client billing and understand basic accounting functions.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills, including active listening and clear communication.
