Business Area Redesign to Cost Specialist (m/f/div)

Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sibiu. Remote work is not available for this role.

• Identify and drive cost reduction opportunities for products and materials
• Lead workshops and discussions to generate new cost-saving ideas
• Evaluate and prioritize ideas based on savings potential and feasibility
• Track progress and ensure initiatives deliver expected savings
• Resolve blockers and manage risks that impact timelines or results
• Escalate critical issues and propose alternative solutions when needed
• Monitor and report cost-saving performance
• Support continuous improvement of cost optimization processes

Qualifications

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Degree in Economics/ Technical studies or relevant professional experience
• Experience in Purchasing, R&D, Project Management or in Innovation Management 
• Strong English skills
• Product Life Cycle (PLC) knowledge
• Management skills, structured approaches and problem solving skills
• Experience in  organization, preparation, moderation of Workshops (internal and/or suppliers) to find new ideas
• Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
