Job Description

Do you have a heart to serve and love being part of a team? A steward is the most important position in Culinary. They are the backbone of the Food & Beverage department. They support the team in order to properly serve our guests. As Stewarding Attendant, you will assist in the execution of memorable Food & Beverage experiences for our guests in our award-winning hotel!

• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces for all culinary departments
• Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
• Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment
• Assists in food production and service when directed
• Washes and cleans pots, pans, and other food service items
• Restock shelves, counters, and storage areas with food service equipment
• Removes trash and garbage as directed
• Sweeps and mops floors in kitchen and servicing areas

• To consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
• Any other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

• Must be able to work any shift assigned, such as holidays, weekends, mornings, afternoons and evenings.
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on colleague and guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Detailed oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Warm, caring and helpful
• Organized and a great team player
• Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
