What is Frontend Development Engineer - Teknosys?

As a Frontend Development Engineer at Teknosys, you will design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance mobile and web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless digital experiences while ensuring application reliability and business continuity.

What does Frontend Development Engineer - Teknosys do?

• Develop and maintain mobile and web applications using one or more of the following technologies: Flutter, Android (Kotlin), iOS (Swift), React, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces and integrate backend APIs and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and agile development activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools to enhance productivity, quality, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and support application stability and performance.
• Support planned maintenance activities, releases, and critical incidents, including during business and non-business hours, to ensure service availability and business continuity.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and engineering practices.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Frontend Development Engineer - Teknosys?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in frontend, mobile, or cross-platform application development.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
• Flutter/Dart
• Android (Kotlin)
• iOS (Swift)
• React or Angular
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of mobile and web application architectures.
• Knowledge of state management, component-based design, REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.
• Experience with Firebase, push notifications, and publishing applications to Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or web environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and agile methodologies.
• Customer- and business-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting critical services and ensuring high availability.
